Property boundaries have become more of a challenge for us here on the border with Onnemi. We recently got a new neighbor who seems to be connected with the darker side of life in Juarez. We have always known that boundary walls are inevitable, but were hoping to have more time.
Over the last few months, we have been adding a boundary wall along one side of our property. This is the longest of the walls we need to build; measuring over eighty feet long. We were able to hire a few local guys and encouraged Jesus (Chuy) to lead the project. He built it with the future in mind. His vision is to build a second level over the top with rooms while providing shaded parking. needless to say, that's a LONG term goal! | | |  | | Pictured is the "Zanja" for the foundation. we brought in a machine to dig because the ground here is full of rock and is extremely hard to dig.
