Done in a Day

Onnemi enjoyed a one day visit from the Church of St. Clement.  The group consisted of families from their Life Group ministry and some of the interns serving as Border Fellows
Pictured below is one of the painting teams.  They primed a thirty foot wall and then took a long, well deserved break!  Great work crew!
Please excuse the expressions; wind in the desert can be fierce!!

We accomplished quite a bit in a short period of time.  Several teams spent time painting, while others textured the ceiling and walls.
Once work was finished, we took some time to have lunch at a local taco place and then dessert.  These are some of the donuts we were forced to choose from!  They come from a small store by the name of "Donas y Mas".  They have been open now for a couple of years and are a pleasant surprise in the middle of our small community.  Great way to end a work day!

Onnemi, a Nahuatl word meaning "he lives", exists to show how Christ can live in and through each of us in every area of our lives.

We proclaim "Onnemi" so..."that by believing you may have life in His name!" (John 20:31c ESV).
