February emotions

February brought a full amount of emotions to our Onnemi team. The phone call early Saturday morning announced the news;

"We were robbed last night."

Emotions tend to run strong when you hear these words.
The imagination runs wild.

Thankfully, the thieves that invaded our ministry center were undetected and there was no opportunity for violence at being discovered.
Pati called the police and filed a report.  In Juarez, the police arrive and tell you what you were missing to help prevent the theft, but there is little hope of apprehending the thieves, if even any effort.
We have begun preventative measures for future deterrents like; bars on windows, higher walls, we will even install surveillance cameras.
If you would like to help with any of these costs, please let us know.  We work on a fairly tight budget and now have paused a few programs so that we can invest in these things.  Necessary for continued ministry.

One of the most amazing things about this whole experience is the wonderful team that we have in Juarez.
Imagine...all of the ministry tools, sound equipment, chairs, tables, projector, musical instruments being taken in night; you are trying to figure out how to move forward and the following day, (Sunday) you receive the following pictures:
What else would you do?!?!
Celebrate!!!
Serve cake and make crafts with the group of kids that are faithful every Sunday for Bible teaching and discipleship!!
Pati and Chuy continue to invest in this group of kids every week and no robbery is going to change that!
Jesus has already started and practically finished the new walls securing the remaining portion of our property.
His desire is to reach the community, but also protect the center as we continue to serving together.
Thank you for your continued prayers for Onnemi.
